Delivery

The alphaX API and data access, in your own stack.

The same asset graph sits behind every route in. Work with it on the alphaX platform, query it from your own models through the API, take it as a Snowflake share, or have versioned extracts delivered over SFTP.

Four ways to take the data

Explore

alphaX platform

Work with the asset graph directly on a live map. Search, filter and overlay any risk layer across a whole portfolio, and drill from a holding down to the individual site behind it. No integration needed.

Query

API

Pull asset locations and resolved risk layers straight into your own models and research stack. Look up a company’s facilities, retrieve scores for a location, or screen a portfolio against any combination of layers on demand.

Share

Snowflake

Take the dataset as a share into your Snowflake account, refreshed on a versioned cadence. It lands as tables you can join straight to your holdings, with no pipeline to build or maintain on your side.

Transfer

SFTP

Scheduled file delivery for teams that would rather land the data themselves, or whose environment does not reach out to external services. The same versioned extracts, delivered on your cadence.

What the data contains

Every record is a physical asset, tied where possible to a listed issuer and carrying the risk layers resolved at that location. The asset location data methodology covers how assets are discovered, matched and quality-controlled.

Asset identity

A stable identifier for the facility, its name and its place in the asset-type taxonomy — factory, mine, port, data centre and so on.

Company linkage

Where the asset is ISIN-attributed, the issuer it belongs to. 3.2M of the 8M+ locations are attributed this way, across the 12,400 companies of the MSCI IMI.

Location

Coordinates for the site itself, with the confidence attached to that resolution rather than a country-level approximation.

Risk layers

The seven layers resolved at that point — nature, physical climate, geopolitical, risks and controversies, revenue splits, policy and maritime.

Version and date

Records are time-aware, so you can ask what was known as of a given date rather than only what is true today — which is what makes backtesting honest.
